Erie Judge and Drop-Box Record
Amanda Bailhache has served as Erie's presiding municipal judge since April 9, 2025. Knowing that helps when an old order or saved schedule shows a different name. Still, a judge's name is a weak search field on its own. Match the Erie case number, the ticket, the current setting, and the clerk record instead. For any specific hearing, the current court notice says who presides.
The court's after-hours drop box takes sealed envelopes of approved material. Class or community-service proof must arrive before the review date. Label the envelope well. The clerk needs enough detail to match it to the right Erie case. Keep a copy, and note when it went in. Never put cash in the box.
A late or unlabeled envelope causes real trouble. The Erie docket can sit untouched even after a genuine delivery attempt. Is a deadline near? Call 303-926-2851 during office hours, and ask staff to confirm receipt. Email and in-person delivery also leave a record. A calendar can't show whether a document reached the file. The clerk is the confirmation source for anything filed in this court.
Erie Warrant and Interpreter Records
Warrant questions tied to the town court go to the municipal clerk. The calendar is the wrong place for them. A blank schedule or payment result settles nothing about warrant status. Call 303-926-2851, identify the case with care, and follow the instructions the court gives. The Weld warrant database is not a substitute for a local answer.
Interpreter service is available when requested in time. Ask the clerk as soon as the need is known. Then confirm the request before the setting. Two different needs, one lesson. The public schedule can't answer either one, so direct clerk contact stays vital for both.
Searching the Erie Court Docket
The official Erie court gateway splits into three routes. They are Court Schedule, Pay Ticket Online, and Records Request. Start with the schedule for an upcoming Erie session. Use the ticket channel only for a payable matter. Turn to the records route when the calendar lacks the file item you need. The court offers no broad public name-indexed Erie docket form.
For direct help, reach the Erie Municipal Court clerk at 303-926-2851, emc@erieco.gov, or fax 303-926-2855. Mail works too, at P.O. Box 750, Erie, CO 80516. You can also use the counter at Town Hall, 645 Holbrook Street. That counter is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. State filings are different. Those go through the Judicial Branch docket for the correct county.
- Read the ticket and confirm that it names Erie Municipal Court.
- Open Erie's court schedule and compare the listed date with the notice.
- Use the separate pay or records link for that specific task.
- Call the Erie clerk when the date, case identifier, or warrant status is unclear.
- For a state case, search Weld or Boulder according to the filing court.
Erie Three-Link Court Docket
Erie's three-link design works as a routing map. Schedule, payment, and records are separate jobs. Someone hunting a court date should not read it off a payment screen. And someone who needs a final order should not treat the public schedule as the full Erie court record. Pick the task first. That habit keeps a request from traveling the wrong municipal path.
Does a link fail to surface the expected Erie matter? Go back to the citation and verify the court. The municipal clerk can decode an Erie identifier or walk through a records request. A state ticket stays invisible no matter how many Erie city links a searcher tries.
| Erie link | Purpose | Does not replace |
|---|---|---|
| Court Schedule | Published Erie sessions | Case-specific notice |
| Pay Ticket Online | Eligible payment | Appearance when required |
| Records Request | Municipal file request | Weld or Boulder state clerk |
Erie Municipal Court Basics
Erie Municipal Court hears town ordinances plus the Model Traffic Code as Erie has amended it. That code is a traffic-rule set adopted and changed locally. An Erie municipal citation is therefore not a Weld County Court case. Presiding Judge Amanda Bailhache began her service April 9, 2025.
Every court function now sits at Town Hall, 645 Holbrook Street. Court-session entrants use the northwest entrance. Other court business goes through the main entrance. Knowing that local rule gets you to the right Erie court function without treating Town Hall like the Weld Combined Courts facility.

Erie Town Hall Docket Move
The move put proceedings, payment, and clerk services under one Town Hall roof. Court-session traffic uses the northwest entrance. Everything else uses the main one. An address saved from before the move can cost you a check-in. Confirm the current official page before traveling.
The change also gives the Erie court docket a clear municipal home. It does not merge Erie records into Weld County. The Erie clerk keeps the local ordinance and traffic file. Weld or Boulder state clerks keep cases filed in their own state courts.
Erie entrance check: Use the northwest entrance for a court session and the main Town Hall entrance for other municipal court services.
Court Dates and Settings in Erie
Pair Erie's Court Schedule link with your newest ticket, review notice, or order. The schedule tells you when the municipal court sits. Your notice tells you what the Erie case actually asks of you. Arraignment, trial, and compliance review each mean something different. So a date on the calendar is never a result. A hearing listed there is a setting, not an outcome.
Proof of a class or community service must reach Erie before the review date. Email works. Hand delivery works. A sealed envelope in the drop box works too. Add enough identifying detail for staff to match it to the right Erie record. Never leave cash in the drop box.
| Date | The Erie date on the newest notice and current schedule. |
|---|---|
| Time | The session time stated by Erie Municipal Court. |
| Entrance | Northwest Town Hall entrance for court sessions. |
| Setting type | Arraignment, trial, review, or another named municipal event. |
| Proof deadline | Before the review date for class or service proof. |
Erie Review-Proof Court Record
An Erie review setting can hinge on class or community-service proof arriving on time. Email, hand delivery, and a sealed drop-box envelope are the documented channels. Put the Erie case or ticket details on the proof. Add your identifying information too, so the clerk can update the correct court record. After-hours delivery does not move the deadline. Keep a copy of what you submitted.
If the review date is close, call the municipal clerk. The same goes when the Erie docket still looks unresolved. And remember: a cash payment never goes in the drop box.
Note: Send Erie class or service proof before the review date. Keep a copy that shows what was delivered.
Traffic Tickets in Erie
Erie Municipal Court hears violations of the Model Traffic Code. The town has amended the code itself. Pay an eligible Erie ticket through the linked payment channel. Check the court schedule for the date. If eligibility or a case identifier is unclear, call 303-926-2851. Active-warrant questions go to the Erie court too.
A state traffic summons may belong to Weld or Boulder County Court instead. Read the printed court and county. A municipal Erie citation stays local even though the town crosses the county line. A state citation never enters the Erie docket just because Erie police wrote it or the address is in Erie.
Interpreters are provided when requested promptly. Contact the Erie court early enough for the service to be arranged. The request is part of preparing for the Erie setting. It is not a reason to skip the date.
Erie Cross-County Docket Choice
Erie spans Weld and Boulder counties, which raises two separate questions. First, is the matter municipal or state? Second, if it is state, where was it filed? The municipal answer is easy. The town court keeps its own ordinance and local traffic records. A state filing follows whichever county court is named.
Do not pick the Weld Judicial Branch filter just because the word "Erie" appears. Check the summons, the case number, and the courthouse. Papers naming Erie Municipal Court belong with the Erie clerk. Papers naming a Colorado County or District Court belong with that state docket. That clerk handles them.
| Erie case clue | Docket route |
|---|---|
| Erie ordinance or local Model Traffic Code | Erie Municipal Court |
| Weld state filing | Weld County or District Court |
| Boulder state filing | Boulder state court channel |
Where Erie Cases Go
Erie ordinance and local traffic matters begin in Erie Municipal Court. State misdemeanors and state traffic filings go to the County Court named on the summons. Felonies and major civil cases go to the applicable District Court. Erie crosses the line. Weld is only one possible state route.
Docket flow: Erie Municipal Court › Weld or Boulder County Court › the applicable District Court
That flow does not mean every Erie case moves upward. It tells you which docket to test when the municipal search is the wrong one. The Weld County court docket overview fits only a confirmed Weld state filing.
Erie Court Docket Source Routes
The Tenth Circuit source is a separate federal appellate docket. It matters only if a distinct Erie-related federal case reaches that court.

That page is not a municipal ticket search or an Erie records channel.
The Colorado State Archives source can help with transferred older court files, once the Erie or state clerk identifies that route.

The archive is no substitute for the current Erie schedule.
The official Weld District Court docket touches an Erie matter only when the case was filed in Weld District Court.

Erie sits in more than one county. That makes checking where a case was filed worth the extra step.
The Weld County Court docket lists Weld-filed state traffic and misdemeanor settings tied to Erie, with hearing dates and case numbers.

It does not hold Erie's municipal Model Traffic Code file.
The Windsor Municipal Court source shows the separate-clerk pattern shared by Weld-area municipalities.

Each town, including Erie, remains responsible for its own municipal records.
Erie Court Record Access Rules
Use Erie's dedicated Records Request link for municipal case material. The clerk also takes phone, email, fax, mail, and in-person requests. Those channels serve an Erie request. Use them when the calendar or payment link is not what you need. Ask for the specific record, such as an available disposition or order. Include the Erie case or ticket identifiers.
Sealed, juvenile, suppressed, and protected information can stay unavailable. A public Erie court date does not make every document public. State Judicial Branch files follow Colorado access directives and the clerk in the filing county. They do not use the Erie municipal records route.
Erie access rule: CJD 05-01 defines access and security for Colorado Judicial Branch case records. Erie Municipal Court remains the custodian for its municipal docket, subject to lawful limits on disclosure.
