Need an Official Docket or Record?
For a District Court or County Court case, contact the Clerk of Court, Weld County Combined Courts, Colorado Judicial Branch. The records counter is at Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, Greeley, CO 80631. Mail goes to P.O. Box 2038, Greeley, CO 80632. Call 970-475-2400 or email 19JDRecords@judicial.state.co.us. The counter is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., except holidays, and opens at 8:00 a.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
Route common requests as follows:
- Upcoming state hearing: use the Colorado Judicial Branch Docket Search, then call the clerk if the entry conflicts with a newer order
- Case history: submit the Record/Document Request Form and choose Register of Action
- Filed order or pleading: name the document and supply the case number, year, court, and party details
- Certified copy: request certification from the clerk and confirm the assessed fee
- Transcript: contact 19Transcripts@judicial.state.co.us through the Plaza West route
- Municipal citation: contact the Greeley, Windsor, Erie, Evans, or Firestone Municipal Court named on the ticket
Do not send a state judicial case request to the elected Weld County Clerk and Recorder. That office handles land records, elections, and motor vehicles, not District Court or County Court files. The official Colorado court record request form is the online path for a Weld state case.
